Preschool Program

Prior to enrolment, Preschool children must be toilet-trained and are required to provide up-to-date proof of immunization, which will be given to the City of Ottawa Health Department.

The Preschool Safe Space

Part of Conscious Discipline is the Safe Space, a space where children learn to go to regulate their emotions. In the Preschool Program, the Safe Space isn't just a chair in a corner, but a cozy tree with breathing tools and photos of each child's families. With some chicken wire, paint, and the twisting of paper (with the help of the children too!), our educators created something magical for the children to enjoy their space of self-regulation.
