Proudly provides an extension of home...
Rockcliffe Child Care Centre is a licensed, not-for-profit centre, offering children unique experiences in a safe, stimulating, nurturing, and inclusive environment. We were established in 1976 as New Edinburgh Child Care Centre and changed our name when we moved to our current premises in 1998. We are a proud participant of the Canada-Wide Early Learning & Child Care System (CWELCC).
Rockcliffe Child Care Centre believes that every child has the right to a high-quality child care that recognizes the unique strengths and abilities of every individual. We believe that all children are competent, capable, and curious, and it is our mission to ensure that our educators and environment foster the growth of each child’s full potential, allowing them to fully participate in the program and engage with peers in a meaningful way. Every child should feel that they belong, that they are a valuable contributor to their surroundings, and that they deserve the opportunity to succeed.
Rockcliffe Child Care Centre is seeking a volunteer Treasurer to join our Board of Directors. This is a rewarding opportunity for a parent or community member to contribute their skills and help support a high-quality, non-profit child care centre in our community.
The Treasurer plays a key role in overseeing the Centre's financial health and supporting sound governance. Working closely with the Program Director and fellow Board Members, the Treasurer helps ensure financial transparency and sustainability.
We are looking for a dedicated, innovative, and community-minded individual ready to lend their expertise as our Treasurer. CPA would be an asset.
Overseeing financial reporting and monitoring the Centre's budget

Presenting financial updates at Board meetings
Experience or interest in finance, accounting, budgeting, or related fields
Strong attention to detail and comfort reviewing financial information
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a volunteer Board
Commitment to the mission of a non-profit, community-based child care
